And through it all, he is a Creator, an Author, and a Creative with an uncanny way of telling stories that come to life through his art, books, and immersive experiences.
Career
Gerald played a crucial role in elevating the Hip-hop culture in the Netherlands, taking it from niche to the mainstream. He pioneered the urban and Hip-hop culture to a national audience through media platforms, TV concepts, art expos, fashion shows, clubs, street activations, sports events, and outdoor festivals. As a result, Gerald connected Hip-hop artists and Urban creatives to a broader audience. In addition, he played a crucial role in enabling Hip-hop and Urban culture to infiltrate and dominate Holland’s media, advertising, film, and music landscape.
As a pioneer and visionary creator, Gerald has always brought people together. A prime example of this is a social media platform he created called:” Pozerscene,” which gained real traction in the Netherlands long before Facebook and Instagram took over. However, in real life, Gerald also brought people together. He did this mainly through large-scale hip-hop events such as: “Meet the Streets” and “Musica Republica.” These were highly successful events organized across the Benelux that were regularly sold out and received raving reviews.
To create a new platform where people could connect and maximize their true potential, he Co-Founded First Noble, the premier institute for World History and Afro-Caribbean Arts & Culture. As the Co-Founder of the First Noble Institute, Gerald has big plans and works tirelessly with his TEAM to achieve them. These goals include re-launching the award-winning SHOW (Shared History of the World), which consists of a Tour throughout five countries in Europe, and launching his first-ever book: His Story of the World, L’Histoire du Monde, The First Creator.
Gerald is focused on the future and embraces new digital technologies’ opportunities. He is a native speaker in the world of new media and is focused on VR, AR, Motion Capturing (Mocap studio), and Creative Technology to digitalize art, tell stories and create unique experiences. He operates at an elite level in the Dutch and international museum industry, enabling upcoming artists to shine in this relatively excluded industry.
